sunlight over the turnpike reminded me of you.
but then again, most other things do too...
like, the color of the sky today,
or the song that is about to play
from speakers that always sing your name.
and i hope you saw that star tonight,
the one that reminded me of the look in your eyes.
and that photo made me think of your smile
because even though i haven't seen it in awhile,
i find your picture in every frame.
